Favorite Children's Book: “I Love You Through and Through” by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak
Caregiving and teaching have always been at the heart of my life, fueling a deep passion for nurturing and educating young minds. My journey began working alongside special needs high school students and volunteering with families of hearing-impaired children. These experiences, coupled with the birth of my son, ignited a profound love for early childhood development and I have had the privilege of being with Tiny Giants since 2013.
While pursuing my credentials at Cerro Corso College in the East Bay, I gained invaluable insights and hands-on experience which shaped my approach to education. As both a director and a parent, nothing brings me more fulfillment than witnessing a child's growth and development—knowing that the foundation we're helping to build will play a crucial role in shaping their future.
Beyond my role at Tiny Giants, I find joy in art-related activities, which often inspire the creative projects I bring into the infant center. Family time is incredibly important to me. My husband and I have been together for 18 years and we love spending quality time with our middle schooler. We enjoy traveling, binge-watching the latest shows and cheering on our son as he plays soccer—we're his biggest fans!
