The Pre-K year is an important stepping stone, laying the groundwork for a smooth transition to Kindergarten. During this crucial period, children are nurtured to develop essential social skills and encouraged to embrace their individuality. The curriculum introduces foundational literacy and numeracy concepts, emphasizing handwriting and fine motor skills. Activities such as public speaking, collaborative projects, thematic dress-up days and hands-on science experiments encourage students to build confidence and self-esteem.
At the beginning of the Pre-K year, the Tiny Giants team works closely with each family to navigate the Kindergarten application and selection journey. Our team is well-versed in the different options throughout San Francisco and has a track record of successful outcomes for our families.

The T-K curriculum builds on the foundation laid in the Pre-K year, offering an independent and advanced learning experience. T-K students spend much of their day interacting with the broader group, gaining valuable social experiences as the older members of their peer group. They also have dedicated times for learning and activities with their fellow second-year students. The T-K program focuses on further development of fine motor skills, emergent reading and writing abilities and foundational math concepts.
